VET NEWS
HSC students at Karabar High School have completed their work placements, or will have, by end of Term 2.
We would like to thank the local business community who participated in supervising the 17 VET students who experienced work, during May and June. Students have enjoyed their experiences and have been able to implement much of their classroom learning. Some students have secured promises for future employment.
We have 50, Year 11 students who have completed their Work Ready tasks and will be placed with appropriate supervisors in the near future, to complete their Mandatory 35 hours of work placement. Preliminary students are completing course work in Business Services, Construction, Hospitality & Primary Industries.
We are very lucky to have access to wide variety of work places for our students to complete the mandatory hours of work placement. We would like to THANK Jasmine Blake who coordinates the workplaces for our students.
Thank You to the work places below for caring for our students.
