Zone Cross Country
On Friday 14th May 2010, 49 students travelled to Goulburn for the Zone Cross Country.
The scene was set with the sun shining brightly on what was to be a tough course winding around the grounds of Mulwaree High School. Everyone ran hard and had a great day.
Twenty three students qualified for Regional Cross Country which was a fantastic result. Congratulations to all of those students who competed and made it to the next level.
There were eight schools that competed on the day, Karabar ranked second overall.
On Friday 4th June 2010, 19 students travelled to Cambewarra (near Nowra) for the Regional Cross Country. Mother Nature had put on a great show the night before providing the course with a torrential downpour, although she was good enough on the day to keep the rain away whilst the students competed.
Everyone ran hard battling through the mud and climbing slippery slopes. In the end Karabar High School saw 7 students make it through to NSW CHS Cross Country to be held on the 22nd July. Congratulations go to Cassie Hopkins who came first in the 12yr girls and Pat Adams who came second in the 17 yr boys as well as everyone who competed. Good luck to the following students who will compete at the CHS carnival:
