Year 8 Placement Selective High School

Entry to selective high schools in Years 8 does not depend on a centralised program as entry to Year 7 does. A common application package applies to all schools and is available from the selective high schools, school education group offices and on the Internet from.

A separate application form must be provided to each selective high school you choose, up to a maximum of four schools. Applications for entry into Years 8 at Karabar HighSchool are managed by the school, in line with Selective Schools Unit guidelines. Only a small number of places are available each year.

The date for the submission of the application is determined each year by the Selective High School Unit and all applications must be received at the school by this date - 29th July 2010 .

Completed forms are returned to the school and are accompanied by copies of school reports from the current year and previous year.
