Job Vacancies
After you have left school you need to go to Centerlink and register as looking for work. They will assign you to a member of the Job Network in the local area who will help you to find work. Many traineeships and apprenticeships are advertised through the employment network.
The following website contains jobs from all over
Australia that are listed with the various employment providers. It
includes career advice, information about the job market as well as job
listings.

Newspapers advertise many jobs, including those requiring no experience, traineeships and apprenticeships. You should check the newspaper every day if you are seriously looking for work.
The Direct Approach often achieves good results. Take copies of your resume and visit employers or post a letter with your resume. Many jobs are never advertised as they are taken by people who made the direct approach to the employer.
